Alex Stobbs features on the cover and an inside page of a calendar created to raise awareness and monies for Cystic Fibrosis. Alex was the inspiration for Lorraine Barnes, mother of 2 boys aged 13 and 5, both with CF, to create the calendar (www.thebarnesboys.org.uk).
Referring to Alex the caption reads: "He is talented, gifted and truly inspirational to many. He does not allow Cystic Fibrosis to rule his life." |

Alex's book about the the challenge of putting on the Matthew Passion, will be called A Passion for Living and is to be published by Hodder in Summer 2009. Alex survives with the help of a massive daily cocktail of drugs, injections and intense physiotherapy.
In this poignant and captivating diary, he will take us with him as he moves towards his goal, living each day to the full and experiencing a life that most can only dream of.
Extracts from his diary will appear on this site as they are written, in the run-up to the concert. For more details, please visit the website of his literary agent, Eve White. |
